Step OneCollection: The gathering of paper products. |
Step TwoDelivery: Paper is delivered to the recycling center. |
Step threeProcessing: Once it is at the recycling center, the paper is sorted by type, and non-paper contaminants are removed. |
![]() Step FourLoading: Paper is baled and then loaded into crates to be transported to a paper mill at which the recycling process takes place. |
Step FivePulping: Recovered fiber is shredded and combined with water, creating a pulp. The pulp is cleaned, dyes and coatings are mixed in, and water is drained from the pulp mixture. |
Step SixPapermaking: Massive rollers remove any remaining moisture and smooth the crude paper into uniform thickness. |
Step SevenNew Paper: The paper is now ready to be cut for use. |
